Processor delidding is currently only available for Intel processors.

If the product below is added to a PC order, the processor will be delidded at no extra cost.  Peak core temperatures generally decrease about 10% from stock.  Lower temperatures allow for greater stability and longer component lifespan.

The integrated heat spreader is carefully removed from the CPU.  VRMs and contact pads are coated with silicone, if present.  Stock thermal paste is replaced with Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut liquid metal.  The integrated heat spreader is sealed back into place, so that the CPU can be treated just as if it were stock.  There is no need to replace the liquid metal over time.

Fully Silent PCs’ standard one-year warranty covers all delidded processors.  Processors with their integrated heat spreaders removed (“delidded”) by the end customer are not covered by this warranty.
